Join the whanau "support crew" challenge!
When your child's class has registered, we will give the teacher details to enable whanau to join the supportcrew challenge along with other parents from your child's class.
Focused on the key pillars of physical and mental health and wellbeing, you take off on a fun virtual global adventure where you learn about the people and culture of the places you "visit" and our inspiring sporting ambassadors talk about why and how to make healthy choices each day, helping to embed habits that can last a lifetime.
It's easy to register and you can access the program via a PC or device.

FAQ's for Parents
What happens to our information?
The privacy and security of all participants information is of paramount importance to us. For this reason, all passwords are encrypted to the same very high standard as your banks; children’s names are entered into our system as first name and last initial only; and adult contact details are only shared for the purposes of receiving prizes and receiving tips and information from our partners, if you give permission.
All data is housed in the secure cloud servers of Amazon Web Services, one of the largest providers of these services in the world. At the end of each event, all participant information is deleted.
How can I get involved to support my child?
There are a few ways you can get involved:
If your child’s class is entered in the Challenge you will receive details from your child’s teacher on how to access your child's profile. You and your child can work together to clock up steps and activity by getting outside; kicking a ball around; taking the dog for a walk and generally having some fun as a family.
If your child is not in the Zespri Young and Healthy Virtual Adventure at school, email to find out more.
How do we move our team around the Virtual Adventure course?
You earn points for any physical activity that you do and bonus points for other healthy behaviours like the number of fruit and vege's s they eat, water intake etc.
These points are entered into your family team profile and the whole team around the global course. As you reach each destination, you'll see videos of your avatars interacting with our ASICS Ambassadors who will teach you about the place you are "visiting" and encourage you to make the best choices you can each day to enjoy great health.
Are there are daily targets we need to achieve?
The main aim of the Virtual Adventure is to get the whole family noticing the things that you do each day to can boost your health and wellbeing.
The main daily objectives are;
to clock up 60 minutes of "huff and puff" activity a day, like riding bikes, running around the park or playground, jumping on the trampoline, swimming, walking to and from school etc
to get as many steps as you can can!
